Every month I will be giving a select group of independent metal bands my platform to share their music! This is Episode 9!

If you'd like to submit your music, fill out This Form.

Each artist will be forevermore added to a public Spotify playlist, known as "The Platform."

Each band featured in this blog submitted their music through the form linked above. You can find each of their individual music videos and social media links below if you'd like to support them further.

Artist 1:

White Noise Vision

(Salt Lake City, Utah)

Song - "HEX"

I asked White Noise Vision, "what makes your band unique?" This is what they had to say;

White Noise Vision is alternative metal driven by the contrast between brutality and vulnerability, chaos and melody, darkness and hope. Our powerful female vocalist Gracelyn brings a unique emotional depth that balances the heaviness of the music with moments of beauty and intensity. We write heavy music, but the emotion behind every song is what truly drives us.

I asked ZVINDIYAR, "what makes your band unique?" This is what they had to say;

"Bahrain-based atmospheric death metal band ZVINDIYAR, following a debut single voted Metal Hammer’s Best New Metal Song of the Week. “Shadhavar” is the band’s latest, strongest and most ambitious release yet, rooted in Persian and Arabic mythological imagery."

Artist 3:

Deprive

(Nashville, TN)

Song - "Ticks"

I asked Deprive, "what makes your band unique?" This is what they had to say;

"We try to convey a kind of desperate, coping-with-life-the-best-we-can feeling into our music that gets people to go "Huh, this guy is really self-reflective and not seeing a lot of good in himself, damn."

Though, to be fair, we're not exactly sure how unique this is given how new we are :)"

Artist 4:

Deathwitxh

(Lansing, Michigan)

Song - "Comfort Creature"

I asked Deathwitxh, "what makes your band unique?" This is what they had to say;

"A femme / queer based metalcore project who uses music as a way to unthread all the emotional ties we deal with day to day. A strong and fierce noise to be reckoned with! We just released our debut album, Misery Is All The Rage! Comfort Creature and Disposable are fan favorite singles, Untouchable Influencer and Title Track are not only our favorites, but becoming listeners favorites from the album as well! For fans of poppy, spiritbox, scene queen, motionless in white, Vana, loathe, etc."

A bit more about Deathwitxh (taken from their Spotify):

"Deadwitxh is a metalcore artist based in Lansing, MI. Embracing a love for all things dark, emotional and rage filled, her music summons an electronic mix of dark melodic pop and metal. Over the years Deadwitxh has grown as a force to be reckoned with within the Detroit Alternative scene. In what began as simple dungeon basement recordings, would eventually become a fully realized live project with a full energetic band to back the fury. Featuring hauntingly energetic vocals, distorted electric guitar, and pulsing drums, all tied together with an alluring sense of doom. In 2020, Deadwitxh independently released the debut EP “Every Body Wants Me Dead”.

Artist 5:

HKSPK

(Brandenburg, Germany)

Song - "Rot in Despair"

I asked HKSPK, "what makes your band unique?" This is what they had to say;

"HKSPK combines the raw immediacy of Black and Death Metal with a deliberately compact, narrative approach. Our songs avoid unnecessary repetition: some strike in under two minutes, while others slowly develop into darker, atmospheric pieces.

On “Heimkehr”, eight tracks form one continuous journey—from violence and chaos toward memory, loss and the unsettling idea of returning home. We are fully independent, but approach every release and live show with the ambition, intensity and professionalism of a much larger band."

HKSPK Germany
HKSPK

"HKSPK are a young Black/Death Metal band from Brandenburg, Germany.

Formed in 2023, the band delivers raw extreme metal with blackened atmosphere, death metal pressure and a direct underground attitude.

Their releases include the debut album “Holy Scum”, the EP “The Human Butcher” and the singles Torture and rot in despair

HKSPK have played shows in Germany and Czech Republic and shared stages with bands such as Waldgeflüster, Asagraum and Enisum.

Raw Black/Death Metal from Germany. No compromise."
