A bit about Burial Plot:

Burial Plot is comprised of Jason Leonardo, Blake Hill, Logan Wendt, and Hunter Curry.
What was supposed to be just a few friends writing some songs for fun turned into a full scale production and release.
*Fun Fact, the band name is NOT derived from the Dayseeker song. The name Burial Plot came from "The Burial Plot Bidding War" by Every Time I Die!
The band was shared on r/metalcore which helped boost their exposure and helped them generate over a grand in merch sales, in just four days, which, for a band who just popped up with no label support or advertising, speakes volumes!
While speaking to Jason on the future plans for Burial Plot, he had this to say; "Regarding the future of the band. We are hoping to get playing shows this summer and continue to write and release some more songs. I really want to do a remix project a la the Suicide Season cut up album. Have a couple electronic remixes, maybe an acoustic version of one song. Wherever that road leads us at that time."
On March 13th, 2026, Burial Plot released their debut EP "Pain Ritual." The thought and care that went into this record truly stands out from other bands' debuts. Burial Plot teamed up with Jose from The Word Alive for vocal production and Cody Stewart stepped up to the plate on the production side.
This EP will set Burial Plot apart from other up and coming bands in the Nashville scene, not only because of the heavy hitters on the production side, but because this band has four absolutely incredible musicians involved, a unique take on metalcore, and I truly believe that they will be touring with all of their dream bands within the next two years.
Keep an eye on Burial Plot.
